The Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County is a non-profit organization created and maintained for the purpose of gathering, compiling, publishing and permanently preserving the historical and genealogical records of the area encompassing and surrounding the original Tryon County. It is our responsibility to protect and add to the records of history. In so doing, we are the Keepers of Time.
