EFFECTIVE JUNE 19, 2019, THE DSS BOARD HAS CHANGED THE MEETING TIME AND LOCATION OF THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETINGS.  THE BOARD WILL MEET ON THE THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 4PM AT THE RUTHERFORD COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING, 289 N. MAIN ST, RUTHERFORDTON, IN THE COMMISSIONER'S CHAMBERS.  THE FIRST MEETING AT THE NEW LOCATION AND TIME WILL BE JULY 17, 2019.  

A household is in a crisis if it is experiencing or is in danger of experiencing a life-threatening or health related emergency and sufficient and appropriate assistance is not available from any other source.
